WOW! This chapter cover is amazing!! So many feels. Looks like Odette learns something terrible about what happened to him…
Yeah new chapter! Yeah TCAF! 😀
When you don’t live in Canada :’). Also, I literally stared at the title page for like 15 minutes trying to find some easter eggs or clues to what’s going to happen.
I can’t wait to see this! I feel like this is when we’ll have a possible plot twist or revelation. Chapter 8’s Rothbart flashback and lost kingdom revelations were already super interesting!
Honestly, this is my favorite version of the Swan Lake story. People have over used the original story too often, so it’s starting to get boring, regardless of how many different endings exist. Your version with a Swan Prince instead, who has an unknown or mysterious past, and who the prince wants to help, is more interesting.
So far, this is my personal ranking:
1st: The Prince and the Swan (more into depth of story, backstories -yessssss- no 100% bad guy, which is much more realistic to real life people, and homosexual romance, WITHOUT it being only about that- it’s nice to stay real and serious about relationships, and not directly make the characters love each other)
2nd: Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake (deeper meaning + optional homosexual relationship, but only on the psychological side)
3rd: Barbie in Swan Lake (it’s original and part of my childhood and love for ballet, so I like it)
One of the Art Schools I wish to study in is in Montreal, so if I do get there one day, I’ll hop at a con and buy the books asap!
(Personally, I love the character design and outfits pretty good… maybe a cosplay could be considered?)
